Looking closely you might notice pink tabular crystals embedded in this chalcedony stalactite. The pink crystals are stilbite, which is in the zeolites group of minerals. Natural zeolites form where volcanic rocks and ash layers react with alkaline groundwater. This chalcedony stalactite also formed from groundwater rich in silica.
It measures 210x130x75mm and was found in India.
