Knightia eocaena is the most common fish found at Fossil Lake in Wyoming, and it might even be the most common articulated vertebrate fossil in the world. These fish are related to herring and sardines, and ate algae, diatoms, insects and smaller fish. Each limestone plate is around 15x10cm. Some plates are bigger, and some are smaller. An information card is also included.
