The unusual blue in this pendant is cavansite.
Cavansite is Calcium, Vanadium and Silica in crystaline form. It is frequently found sitting atop a matrix of zeolites or apophyllites. The specimen in this pendant (still on its apophyllite matrix) is from India, but the mineral was first discovered in Oregon in 1967.
The pendant is 43x23mm, and is set in sterling silver.
