The large calcite crystal (it's 70x65x65mm on it's own) atop this cluster of apophyllite, stilbite and chalcedony displays the property of birefringence or double refraction, which are fancy ways of saying that light passing through the crystal is bent twice and images appear duplicated. In the last photo, you can see the word "lobolith" is appears twice.
