Hannah is a multimedia jewelry artist who derives her designs from human and natural experience. She grew up in Berkeley, California where she developed a deep sensitivity to nature and a desire to protect the beautiful things around her. By bringing nature onto the body through her jewelry, she hopes that people will find renewed awe for the earth.
She is currently an artist in residence at the Mendocino Art Center, which brings emerging artists like Hannah to a community full of local artistic talent on a tranquil and inspiring rural Northern California coast.
Hannah casts and fabricates pieces using sterling silver, 14K gold, bronze, brass and even living moss. Living moss! She literally brings nature onto the body.
Hannah joins us on November 1st from 6-9pm to exhibit her work. You're not going to want to miss this chance to meet and speak with her. Consider making an evening of your visit to North Beach: get dinner, visit us at Igneous Theory, and then check out the other galleries that are open late for North Beach First Fridays.
