This low-lying sphere stand is black painted wood, and was made in Indonesia. It's 63mm in diameter with a 51mm opening.
Will this stand fit your sphere? Too small a sphere stand, and your object is more likely to roll away. Too large, and the stand seems to be on the verge of swallowing the object. We recommend a sphere stand that is about 1/3 the diameter of the object you want to immobilize. We feel it's a nice compromise between aesthetics and safety.
