This 145 million year old Aeger tipularius is from the limestones of Solnhofen, Germany. Nearly all the prawn's external features -- from antinnule to uropod to the hairs on the prawn's walking legs -- were uncovered during the impeccable preparation. To uncover these details the preparator used needles.
